TODA and Texas Choral Directors Association (TCDA) jointly hold an annual convention in the late summer at Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio.
TODA and TCDA meet in a Wednesday-Saturday pattern; Texas Bandmasters Association (TBA) meets the three days immediately before in a Sunday-Wednesday pattern. This provides the "sharing" of exhibiting companies. The first day (Sunday or Wednesday) in each period is the move-in day for exhibitors. Conventions begin on the second day in each period.
In 2009 and into the future, TODA and TCDA will meet in this Wednesday - Saturday pattern. Exhibits will be open on Wednesday from 3-6 pm and will end on Friday afternoon at about 4 pm. Exhibits will be closed on Saturday morning.
